Exhibition of photography by Eimear King in partnership with Clonmel Junction Arts Festival
South Tipperary Arts Centre in partnership with Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is delighted to bring this exhibition of work by our beloved and deeply missed friend and colleague, Eimear King.
Eimear King was an artist/photographer and administrator at South Tipperary Arts Centre, where she also produced the STAC Arts Podcast until her passing in April 2024.
Eimear was a true creative, with a vast and varied range of creative talents, but photography was her preferred medium. She was a keen observer of nature, in both urban and rural settings, which can be seen in the works selected for this exhibition. Living in Clonmel meant that these worlds intersected in a myriad of ways, with the wildness never far away. Being very much influenced and inspired by the natural world and the elements, she was enchanted with the ancient and the unseen, the spirit of place, and endeavoured to capture this in her images.
