The residency at Tipperary is our first step into a new creation. The Amazons and the feminist movement share a quest for gender equality, facing resistance in their struggles against patriarchal norms. This comparison underscores how the fight for equality and emancipation transcends time and culture, urging us to challenge gender norms for a more equitable world. This duet delves into our connection with the female body, examining the empowerment that contraception brings.

LUMEN exists in the borderland. Between music and dance, human body and machine, between sunset and sunrise.

Using sound, set, light, movement, video and voice, the stage becomes an animated space that vibrates, shivers, thunders, glitters and glows. The three dancers bring animals, insects, plants and fungi to life, in a dance that celebrates and bows to the beauty of the natural world.

Calling on the imagination and celebrating the innocent, this family-friendly trio lets the body share shape with the land around us. As if earth was speaking to us, urging us to remember how to love and protect, how to go back to nature and to dreaming.
