Our Artistic Director Helena Tobin will be taking part in the VAI's Speed Curation Clinic as part of their Get Together Event.
Get Together 2024 features an incredible lineup of speakers, led by Joan Jonas, renowned artist and keynote speaker. Panels will bring together practitioners from both at home and abroad, exploring visual arts practice through the lens of the environment, doomscrolling, exhibition making, catalogue preparation, contemporary feminism, and many other relevant topics. The Speed Curation Clinic is fast-paced but friendly environment offers a chance for curators to meet artists they might never have come across, or to see new bodies of work in development. Multiple exhibitions and working relationships have developed from VAI’s Speed Curating events, and everyone walks away feeling the benefit of having discussed their practice with fellow professionals.
