 We are looking for an experienced Children’s Art Tutor to join our amazing team of Tutors here at STAC.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

1. Applicants must have experience working with children.
2. Applicants should have a qualification in education OR ART.    
3. Excellent communication skills.  Being capable of maintaining excellent relationships with children and parents with a friendly and sociable attitude. Being capable of communicating with STAC staff in an efficient and professional manner.
4. The ability to maintain discipline in a classroom setting and ensure the safety of all children.
5. It is essential to be an excellent timekeeper and reliable.
6. First aid training and manual handling certificate an advantage.
7. Must be willing to be Garda vetted

Above all, you must be enthusiastic about working with children, with an upbeat, kind and friendly manner.

Job Type: Part Time – 2 hours per week

Salary: €38.50 per hour/ETB rate 

Schedule: 2 hours per week – every Friday during term-time

                 3.30 – 4.15pm : 5 - 8 year olds

                  4.30 – 5.30pm : 9 -12 year olds

Experience: Teaching art to children: 1year (preferred)

Language: English (fluency is required)

Work Location: In person at South TipperaryArts Centre

Expected start date: 15/09/2023
